ITaP will start using Apple’s iTunes U in the near future. From the press release: “BoilerCast has become the most successful academic podcasting service in the world,” Collins said. “By partnering with Apple, we are bringing together the two leaders in academic podcasting, and there will be tremendous innovation and benefits.” Damn straight!

Last Wednesday evening Shreve Hall hosted a diversity panel which I co-coordinated. The goal of the panel was to open a dialogue…
If you had to put a runway show to music, what tracks would you choose? I volunteered to supply music for Shreve’s annual “Mr. and Miss Shreve” contest and am looking for suggestions. It’s harder to find music for the guys who are walking down the runway, but all suggestions are welcome. […]
Clearly, this. (Or, how to tell when the Methodist Men conference is coming to town. [The cross? It’s made of those orange trucker lights. Oh yes.])
I was recently assigned the task of poring over Purdue Housing and Food Services (HFS) web site to check for errors, misspellings, etc. I’m also going to submit comments on design and usability. Check out the error I found on this page: Error ! The current browser is either too old or too modern […]
For the longest time I have been able to avoid programming. I took classes in high school, but did enough to get by. I went so far (to get by) as do avoid functions in Pascal all together. Imagine the guy who writes a Pascal program to print calendars, but doesn’t use […]

Last year I was a Conference Assistant at Owen/Cary/Wiley/Tark, which didn’t pay much, and […]
…since I last posted. This was not from lack of want, but rather lack of time. April is usually a blur, and 2005 is no exception. So much has been going on lately. The primary time-sucker would have to be a program I put on for Owen last Saturday. Like […]
Contrary to a recent post, I’ve been doing much better lately. There was a combination of stresses and frustrations, but once those die down, everything winds down to normalcy again. In outline form, why this week’s much better than the last: Easter brunch with Chris, Mom and Dad in the Eagle’s Nest the Indianapolis […]
I was afraid this wouldn’t work, but it appears to work just fine as long as you treat your Exchange account as a straight IMAP account (with Purdue, at least). These settings worked for me: Server Type: IMAP Server Name: exch.itap.purdue.edu User Name: your shortname Email Address: shortname@exchange.purdue.edu Use secure connection (SSL): checked (port changes to 993) That’s it!
